Hola Monitos parents. This week, we will continue with the theme: “My Family.” For children it is important to know the meaning of family and the feeling of being part of one. Through this, we want the child to learn about the different types of existing family responsibilities and roles of each of the members. We’ll also learn about the type of housing in which each resides.

This knowledge will help the child to stimulate their self-esteem, security, love, understanding, and respect for each one of the members who compose it.

Costume Parade October 30: Our Monitos will have a great time Friday morning. Please send them to school with their favorite costume!

Please make sure your child has extra clothes in her/his cubby.

Hola Monitos Parents,

This week we will start a new theme: My family. The word ‘Family’ has always meant many things to many people. For us ‘Family’ is the most important influence in a child’s life, we believe each family is unique, and we respect all family values and cultural traditions. Through the different activities that we will have this week, we will make our Monitos reinforce their love and respect for their family.

We will have a very active week. Our goal will be to teach the importance of staying active in order to keep our bodies healthy and strong. The children are allowed to bring their favorite sport supplies and to wear their favorite sport team jersey.
