🔠 What are we learning?

Dear Monitos Parents,

We would like to thank you once again for all your support and for letting us play such an important role in your child’s life.

This week the children will be reviewing a few topics we learnt during the school year 2015-2016. We will talk again about geometric shapes. We have planned a few exciting learning activities and kids will have a fun and exciting week since we are going to get ready for Father’s Day Celebration that will take place on Wednesday, June 15th. Children and fathers should wear a white t-shirt that day.

🔆 Friendly Reminders

• Check your child’s cubby, remove dirty clothing and make sure to bring extra set of clothing that is appropriate to weather.

• Bringing toys to classroom is not allowed. Make sure toys are left at home.
• Read your child’s journal daily.

• Bring a picture of your child with his/her dad on Monday June 13th.

This week the children will be learning about the universe through play. Children will discover interesting facts about our planet “The Earth”, the sun, the moon and the stars. We have planned a few exciting learning activities and scheduled a camping project day on Friday, June 3rd where children will observe the stars while reading stories.

🔠 What are we learning?

Dear Monitos Parents,

We would like to thank you once again for all your support and for letting us play such an important role in your child’s life.

This week the children will be learning about insects and bugs through play. We will discuss about bees, butterflies, ants, spiders, etc. and the role these small animals play in our lives.

We have planned a few exciting learning activities and scheduled an art exhibit called “Animal Expo” on Friday May 27th. This exhibit will feature all the animals whose arts, paintings, drawings, etc.  we have created during the last three weeks. Children are so excited and we are certain that they will have lots of fun!

The Animal Kingdom – Farm Animals

Dear Monitos Parents,

This week we will teach about farm animals. We will talk about horses, cows, pigs, etc. Children will learn how to take care of them and what food they need to continue growing. We have also planned other exciting and fun activities and we will be having our fabulous project “Pet Parade” on Friday May 13th.

“Animal Kingdom and Mother’s Day ”

Dear Monitos parents,

This week we will celebrate Mother’s Day with a very special project and children will learn about the animal kingdom. On Monday, we will discuss about cats and primate animals, on Tuesday we will talk about elephants, giraffes, hippos, zebras and bears and on Wednesday we will review interesting facts about endangered species or animals in extinction. On Thursday we will work on the Mother’s Day celebration project and we will have lots of fun decorating the classroom for Friday.
