🔠 What are we learning?

Dear Monitos Parents,

This week we will learn to be little travelers and we will celebrate the country where we live and the Independence Day. The children will learn about interesting facts of USA. We are going to discuss about the american flag, its color and the stars and what they represent. We are scheduling exciting learning activities that will allow us to continue strengthening motor and cognitive-sensory skills such as:

• Create a hat.
• Participate in a picnic.
• Prepare flag cookies.
• Participate in the Flag Parade.

• Check your child’s cubby, remove dirty clothing and make sure to bring extra set of clothing that is appropriate to weather.

• Bringing toys to classroom is not allowed. Make sure toys are left at home.
• Read your child’s journal daily so you can get informed about your child milestones in the classroom and help us to continue encouraging your child on them at home.

🔠 What are we learning?

Dear Monitos Parents,

Our summer camp is finally here! We are so excited that we are able to keep encouraging children learn new things and develop their creativity while having a fun and exciting time. We are scheduling exciting learning activities that will allow us to continue strengthening motor and cognitive-sensory skills such as welcoming new friends in the classroom, enjoying outdoor activities, playing to pretend to be chefs and discuss about healthy food, making a delicious fruit salad, sandwiches and pizza and preparing a refreshing lemonade and of course participating in a Summer Fashion Parade.

📄 Materials for Special Projects

• Bring sunglasses for your child on Tuesday, June 21st. Please make sure to label the sunglasses with your child’s name.
• Have your child wear a summer clothing for our Summer Fashion Parade on Thursday, June 243rd.

🔠 What are we learning?

Dear Monitos Parents,

We would like to thank you once again for all your support and for letting us play such an important role in your child’s life.

This week the children will be reviewing a few topics we learnt during the school year 2015-2016. We will talk again about geometric shapes. We have planned a few exciting learning activities and kids will have a fun and exciting week since we are going to get ready for Father’s Day Celebration that will take place on Wednesday, June 15th. Children and fathers should wear a white t-shirt that day.

This week the children will be learning about the universe through play. Children will discover interesting facts about our planet “The Earth”, the sun, the moon and the stars. We have planned a few exciting learning activities and scheduled a camping project day on Friday, June 3rd where children will observe the stars while reading stories.

🔠 What are we learning?

Dear Monitos Parents,

We would like to thank you once again for all your support and for letting us play such an important role in your child’s life.

This week the children will be learning about insects and bugs through play. We will discuss about bees, butterflies, ants, spiders, etc. and the role these small animals play in our lives.

We have planned a few exciting learning activities and scheduled an art exhibit called “Animal Expo” on Friday May 27th. This exhibit will feature all the animals whose arts, paintings, drawings, etc.  we have created during the last three weeks. Children are so excited and we are certain that they will have lots of fun!
