This week we will learn about the parts of our body. We have scheduled exciting learning activities related to this theme that will allow us also to continue strengthening fine and gross motor, cognitive-sensory and language skills.

🔆 Friendly Reminders

• Wash your hands and your child’s hands once you enter the classroom.
• Read and review your child’s journal.
• Always make sure that your child has extra set of clothing labeled with your child’s name  that is appropriate to weather in his/her cubby.
• Bring diapers or pullups, wipes and rash ointment and label them with your child’s name.

This week we will continue introducing the children to the school, the staff and school activities. We will discuss with them about all the staff in the school and about the teacher. We will explore the other classrooms and meet the other kids.

We have also scheduled exciting learning activities related to this theme that will allow us to continue strengthening motor, cognitive-sensory and language skills.

It's that time of year again “Back To Pre-School”! This week we will discuss about the School and Me! We are really excited to start a new school year. We have scheduled exciting learning activities related to this theme that will allow us to continue strengthening motor, cognitive-sensory and language skills. We have been also working hard to prepare creative learning activities to help us reach the developmental goals and objectives.

Week: August 8th to August 12th, 2016

🔠 What are we learning?

Dear Monitos Parents,

The last week of Summer Camp is finally here and we want to thank you for giving us the opportunity  to teach and take care of your little children. We feel special and value our work and we are glad that the children have experienced new learning adventures with hands-on play during the summer. This week we will learn to be Little Clowns and Magicians. We will discuss about the animals and the magicians in the circus and we have scheduled exciting learning activities related to this theme that will allow us to continue strengthening motor, cognitive-sensory and language skills such as creating puppets and clowns for an art project and setting up a food stand on Thursday while preparing some delicious pizzas.

• Bring swimsuit, splashers or swim diapers, towel, water shoes and a plastic bag for your child on Splash days.
• Bring a wig for Crazy Hair Day on Monday.

🔆 Friendly Reminders

• Sunscreen and mosquito repellant are important to protect your child because he/she is very susceptible to sunburn/mosquito bites. Yet applying sunscreen and mosquito repellent to your child requires planning. If sunscreen and mosquito repellent must be applied to your child, make sure to fill out an administration or authorization form specifying when sunscreen and mosquito repellant should be applied and be sure to supply the sunscreen and mosquito repellant, label the bottles with your child's name and place them in a ziploc bag.
