🔠 What are we learning?

Dear Monitos Parents,

This week we will learn about our community and the environment where we live as well as public and private institutions of our city. Children will discover the roles and characteristics of our community servants and will learn to respect and admire the job they do.

We have scheduled learning activities related to this theme in order to continue strengthening gross and fine motor skills, language and socio, emotional skills.

📄 Materials for Special Projects

·         If someone at home has some tools that a doctor, nurse, etc. uses, please bring it to the school for Monday, October 31st. We will use them through the week so children explore what doctors and nurses do.

🔆 Friendly Reminders

·         Wash your hands and your child’s hands once you enter the classroom as part of your child’s everyday routine.
·         Make sure that your child has extra set of clothing labeled with your child’s name that is appropriate to weather in his/her cubby.
·         Bring diapers or pullups, wipes and rash ointment and label them with your child’s name.
·         Read and review your child’s journal.

  • Report Cards will be delivered on Monday, November 7th.

Dear Monitos Parents,

This week we will continue learning about the wonderful subject “My Family”. We will discuss about the different types of homes and the parts of a house. We will also celebrate our Fall Festival on Friday, October 28th, 2016.  

We have scheduled learning activities related to this theme in order to continue strengthening gross and fine motor skills, language and socio, emotional skills.

Please make sure to register for the student of the week and the traveling pet activities and sign the corresponding forms. Jade Warchal is our student of the week for this week.

Dear Monitos Parents,

This week we will learn about the wonderful subject “My Family”. This theme is very important for the child development since through pictures we will be recognizing every member of the family and we will be also discussing about the roles and responsibilities of each member in our home.  

We have scheduled learning activities related to this theme in order to continue strengthening gross and fine motor skills, language and socio, emotional skills.

Please make sure to register for the student of the week and the traveling pet activities and sign the corresponding forms.
