🔠 What are we learning?

Dear Monitos Parents,

This week we will learn about the feelings.

We have scheduled learning activities related to this theme in order to continue strengthening gross and fine motor skills, language and socio, emotional skills. We will teach children how to identify and express their feelings through playful activities. We will use mirrors to see our faces and identify gestures when we express a particular feeling.

On Friday, October 14th, we will celebrate Hispanic Heritage day. All parents are cordially invited to join us. Children should wear traditional costumes from Latin American countries. We will enjoy corn chips and a delicious Mexican dish.

🔆 Friendly Reminders

• Wash your hands and your child’s hands once you enter the classroom as part of your child’s everyday routine.
• Make sure that your child has extra set of clothing labeled with your child’s name that is appropriate to weather in his/her cubby.
• Bring diapers or pullups, wipes and rash ointment and label them with your child’s name.
• Read and review your child’s journal.
