🔠 What are we learning?

Dear Monitos Parents,

This week we will learn to be little scientists and we will discuss about science. We will continue creating safe learning environments that offer the children the opportunity to explore and experiment with science. We have scheduled exciting learning activities that will allow us to continue strengthening motor and cognitive-sensory skills such as exploring and observing what happens when we combine water and oil and different colors, experimenting with artificial snow, preparing homemade playdough and playing with magnifiers and magnets.

Thank you once again for all your support and for letting us play such an important role in your child’s life.

Thank you,

Miss Karina del Valle.

📄 Materials for Special Projects/Activities

  • Bring magnifiers for Wednesday project.
  • Bring magnets for Thursday project.
  • Bring swimsuit, splashers or swim diapers, towel, water shoes and a plastic bag for your child on Splash days.

🔆 Friendly Reminders

  • Sunscreen and mosquito repellant are important to protect your child because he/she is very susceptible to sunburn/mosquito bites. Yet applying sunscreen and mosquito repellent to your child requires planning. If sunscreen and mosquito repellent must be applied to your child, make sure to fill out an administration or authorization form specifying when sunscreen and mosquito repellant should be applied and be sure to supply the sunscreen and mosquito repellant, label the bottles with your child's name and place them in a ziploc bag.
