🔠 What are we learning?

Dear Monitos Parents,

We will continue with our theme called “Green Earth”. This week we will learn about dinosaurs, the sun, moon and the stars as well as atmospheric phenomena such as snow and rainbows.

We have scheduled exciting and fun learning activities in regards to this theme that keep strengthening motor, cognitive/sensorial and language skills.  Children will learn through experiences so they can use their creativity and imagination. Children will also discover and explore day and night and will also work on an art project.

📄 Materials for Special Projects

·         Prepare Valentine’s card for your child’s classmates. There are 12 monitos in the classroom.

🔆 Friendly Reminders

·         Wash your hands and your child’s hands once you enter the classroom as part of your child’s everyday routine.

·         Make sure that your child has extra set of clothing labeled with your child’s name that is appropriate to weather in his/her cubby.

·         Bring diapers or pullups, wipes and rash ointment and label them with your child’s name.

·         Read and review your child’s journal.

·         Do not forget to sign up for the traveling pet activity.

📆 Holidays & Upcoming Events

●      Valentine’s Day Celebration on Wednesday, February 14^th, 2017. Children should wear red clothing.

●      Science Fair from February 20^th to February 24^th, 2017.
