🔠 What are we learning?

Dear Monitos Parents,

We will continue with our theme called “Green Earth”. We will discuss about the pollution in our planet and how we can help to take care of our planet. Children will learn about the actions that can help keep our planet clean and without pollution.

We have scheduled learning activities related to this theme to continue strengthening gross and fine motor skills, language and socio-emotional skills as well as to teach them important things they can do to reduce pollution and take care of our environment. For Valentine’s Day we will have a small celebration and children will share a fun moment with their classmates.

📄 Materials for Special Projects

·         Prepare Valentine’s card for your child’s classmates. There are 12 monitos in the classroom.

• Have your child wear a red or pink t-shirt on Valentine’s Day.

🔆 Friendly Reminders

·         Wash your hands and your child’s hands once you enter the classroom as part of your child’s everyday routine.

·         Make sure that your child has extra set of clothing labeled with your child’s name that is appropriate to weather in his/her cubby.

·         Bring diapers or pullups, wipes and rash ointment and label them with your child’s name.

·         Read and review your child’s journal.

·         Do not forget to sign up for the traveling pet activity.
