MIS TRADICIONES FAMILIARES
Dear Monitos Parents:
We hope you have had a great weekend! For this week our theme is “My Family Traditions.” Family traditions teach children the value of enjoying the pleasures of having fun with everyone. Our traditions provide a sense of belonging and security. Children will remember traditions and/or costumes of spring, summer, fall, and winter by making some art works, playing with sand and water, and observing pictures.
Our Children have started to practice for their performance. The song they will perform for this event is entitled “Muñeco de Nieve.” We will have our holiday party on December 18th.

MY FAMILY/ MI FAMILIA

Hola Monitos parents. This week, we will continue with the theme: “My Family.” For children it is important to know the meaning of family and the feeling of being part of one. Through this, we want the child to learn about the different types of existing family responsibilities and roles of each of the members. We’ll also learn about the type of housing in which each resides.
This knowledge will help the child to stimulate their self-esteem, security, love, understanding, and respect for each one of the members who compose it.
